Solid little transceiver. Plugged it into my Juniper switch and it was recognized instantly. No issues with the 1G connection over Cat6. Does exactly what it's supposed to do.

10gbps fiber connection can be accomplished using two of these and a fiber optical cable. In my testing this unit worked with different brand of fiber, a cheap network switch and other branded adapters. So far so good. All of these seem to get up there in temperature but nothing out of the ordinary. Setup is easy, just plug it in and it should function as intended. Connected easily between devices. Can recommend.
