Brocade BR-X764-2148 Port Blade, FC64-48, 48x64G SWL SEC SFP+
The FC64-48 port blade provides 48 front end 64G FC SFP+ ports with the edge switch interconnected to the core blades. Supported SFPs include 64G, 32G, and 10G FC.
Each port blade provides 48 backplane ports connections to core routing blades. The port blade supports port-based in-flight encryption/decryption and compression/decompression.
Port and extension blades can be mixed in device slots 3–6 and 9–12, but CR64-8 blades must be installed in slots 7 and 8. Up to eight hot-swappable port blades can be installed in a single chassis to provide up to 384 64G FC ports.
Optics, such as the following, can be installed in the FC ports of the blade.
- 64G SFP+ transceivers supporting speeds 64G, 32G, and 16G.
- 32G SFP+ transceivers supporting speeds of 32G, 16G, and 8G.
- 10G SFP+ transceivers supporting 10G.
Port blades contain the following LED indicators:
- Green blade power LED
- Amber blade status LED
- Bicolor green/amber FC port status LEDs
